Addressed reflective linear smoke detector, maximum range 100m. The FLR500 reflective linear smoke detector is an addressed device with a short-circuit isolator. It is particularly suitable for applications in the tertiary sector and in special environments, such as museums, churches, and historic buildings. The detector contains both the transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) sections for the infrared signal; its operating principle is based on the interaction between smoke present in an environment, generated by an incipient fire, and an infrared beam emitted and reflected by a special optical reflector. The device has three LED indicators and two 7-segment displays for notifying information to the installer; on the detector board, there are terminals for connection to the detection line and terminals for connecting the remote alarm repeater. The detector's configuration can be defined by a series of microswitches or directly from the control panel. FLR500 is an addressed detector to be used with FAP54 series addressed fire detection control panels.
