Linear beam smoke detectors
Linear beam smoke detector Tx + Rx, max range. 150 m. The FL100 linear beam smoke detector is particularly suitable for tertiary sector applications. Its operating principle is based on the interaction between smoke present in an environment generated by a fire and an infrared beam emitted by a transmitting unit (Tx) and received and processed appropriately by a receiving unit (Rx). More specifically, the Rx receiver processes an electrical signal proportional to the intensity of the light received, notifying an alarm or fault condition if the signal falls below an alarm or fault threshold continuously for a predetermined period of time. The detector is equipped with three LED indicators and two 7-segment displays.
