4-zone fire detection control panel expandable to 20 zones. The conventional C420 control panel is modular, capable of managing from a minimum of 4 zones (basic configuration) to a maximum of 20 (via optional ML420 modules) on which up to 512 devices can be connected. Each zone can manage up to 32 conventional points or devices, while still adhering to the maximum number of 512 devices manageable by the control panel overall. Each zone has an associated relay that activates when the zone enters an alarm condition. The control panel also has the following outputs and relays: an alarm output, a siren output, a fault output, a programmable output to activate in case of mains failure or exclusions.
