Overview
MEDEA is the new hybrid multifunction intruder alarm system, expandable with radio devices and with native LAN connection. The structure based on a powerful CPU and advanced software makes MEDEA cutting-edge in terms of operational capacity and flexibility, with extraordinary possibilities for integration with current and future technologies. The range, as well as the integration with radio security devices and ZigBee home automation peripherals, make MEDEA the ideal solution for both residential applications and complex solutions in the tertiary or industrial sector.
Ease of configuration
MEDEA automatically recognizes peripherals connected to the fieldbus, without the need for particular settings; furthermore, the Medea Control web configurator, integrated into the control panel, allows you to acquire and configure devices before physically connecting them to the system.
Versatile programming
By accessing the Medea Control web configurator from a local PC, without installing any software, the installer will find an easy and intuitive environment to fully program the system. Similar remote access is also possible through the free services provided by Elkron Cloud.
Integration
The classic performance of the security system, in MEDEA, is integrated with video verification and video surveillance functions, through the connection of cameras and NVRs, not only Elkron branded but also with devices from major market players. Home Automation functions are managed through a range of ZigBee radio devices. Medea opens up to the integration between security and home automation systems with a Konnex interface.
Certified performance
MEDEA has been designed to comply with the strict criteria defined by European Standards and tested in the laboratories of the Quality Mark Institute to obtain certification according to standard EN 50131 with security grade 2 and 3 based on the model and configuration.

MEDEA Control
Through the Medea Control configurator, it is possible to acquire all the devices that make up the system, whether they are connected to the fieldbus or via radio, and carry out their complete programming. Access is simple and does not require any PC configuration; it is sufficient to connect the USB or Ethernet port to the control panel.
Diagnostics
A practical diagnostic module allows the installer to view important information relating to the integrity of the system, such as instantaneous consumption, the status of protections, the signal level of radio devices, or battery charge.
Inputs/Outputs
The “INPUTS/OUTPUTS” function allows real-time monitoring of the various states of inputs and outputs; it is also possible to switch outputs in order to control interaction with the system.
